Homelink is honestly one of the best features that a vehicle manufacturer can integrate. Companies from Subaru to Tesla have been integrating these systems into their vehicles for years now.
The 2020 Kia Telluride has many features you won’t find on the competition and the good news is yes, the 2020 Kia Telluride does have Homelink.
However, while the Kia Telluride does have HomeLink it’s a bit more difficult than that as it depends on your trim level so let’s break it down.
It’s Only Standard On SX Trims
The SX Trim is the only trim that comes standard with an Auto-Dimming Mirror With Homelink. You can get an auto-dimming mirror on the lower trims when ordering but only the SX comes with Homelink. However, there is nothing that should prevent a dealer from installing the same part online.
You can purchase the Auto-Dimming Mirror with Compass & Homelink from Amazon. This is a genuine Kia component and sold by Kia, you can then schedule an appointment with your dealership to have it installed.
I would recommend calling your dealership ahead of time to make sure they have the capacity and are willing to install the mirror for you. However, afterward, you will need to set up the Homelink functionality and Kia has produced a video to help you with that.
If you are on a lower Trim have you had the Homelink mirror installed? If so how do you like it and what did your dealership charge you to install it?
Too bad the door buttons don’t light up.
It is impossible to see the buttons at night.
